This article has very small writing which suggest deeper reading which would only appeal to readers that are very into the person that the article is about. The image is almost a close up as we get a full view of Lady gaga and only some of her upper torso; she’s also covering her breast which is creating sex appeal. Due to Gaga looking at the camera (direct mode of address) this almost pulls the reader into noticing this page when flicking through. The image has been edited into black and white possibly to create a sophisticated image of lady gaga. The huge ‘L’ is in the font Lady Gaga uses when her names on her albums so people into Lady gaga that are looking at this would instantly recognise who the article is about without having to read the name. There is a logo on the article but it is very small at the bottom right hand corner so it could take a while for us to find it however the ‘L’ is in Q magazines colours so it will be recognisable with regular Q readers.
